This privacy policy explains how Tells Shoes Sàrl collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit the site tellsshoes.ch (the «Site»), use our forms, create an account or interact with us.

c) Data relating to orders (if you buy on the Site)
 Depending on the purchase path, data may be requested (e.g. delivery/billing details).

Note: the payment details (e.g. card) are generally processed by a payment service provider and are not stored by us. (Details depend on the payment configuration active on the Site).

d) Navigation and technical data

  • IP address (often processed in truncated/technical form depending on the tool)
  • Connection data and logs
  • Cookies/trackers (see Cookies section)

Sensitive data (health) Medical data: we do not ask for medical data. However, if you spontaneously mention information relating to your health (e.g. diabetes) in a message, this data will be processed solely to respond to your request, with a reinforced level of protection.

3) Why do we use your data?

We process your data in particular for :

  • Responding to your requests via the contact form and ensure follow-up (collaboration, requests for information, feedback/opinions).
  • Managing the customer/prospect relationship and our exchanges.
  • Manage your account (if you create one).
  • Processing orders, delivery, after-sales service (if applicable).
  • Ensuring safety of the Site, prevent fraud and abuse.
  • Managing a newsletter if you register (you can unsubscribe at any time).

4) Legal bases (RGPD) and foundations (LPD)

When the RGPD applies (e.g. if people in the EU/EEA use our services), we rely in particular on the following legal bases (art. 6 RGPD):

  • Performance of a contract / pre-contractual measures account management, orders, purchase-related requests.
  • Legitimate interest : to respond to incoming requests, improve our services, secure the Site (provided that your rights do not take precedence).
  • Consent For example, for certain cookies/trackers or the sending of marketing communications, as appropriate.
  • Legal obligation when conservation or processing is required by law.

Under the Swiss LPD, We process data lawfully, proportionately and in accordance with the stated purpose. 

5) To whom do we pass on your data?

We do not sell your data.

Your data may be communicated to only if necessary à :

  • our technical service providers (hosting, maintenance, security, e-mails, forms, anti-spam tools); ;
  • e-commerce service providers (payment, delivery) if applicable ;
  • authorities if required by law.

These service providers act as subcontractors and only use your data in accordance with our instructions, with appropriate security measures.

6) Transfers outside Switzerland / outside the EU-EEA

Depending on the service providers used, some data may be processed in Switzerland, the EU/EEA or other countries. When data is transferred to a country that does not guarantee an adequate level of protection, we put in place the following measures appropriate guarantees (e.g. standard contractual clauses and additional security measures), in accordance with the applicable requirements.

7) Shelf life

We store your data only as long as necessary for the intended purposes :

  • Requests via form / e-mail generally up to 24 months after the last contact (except in the event of a legal obligation or dispute).
  • Customer account for as long as the account is active, then deletion/anonymisation according to legal and technical constraints.
  • Orders and billing conservation according to legal obligations applicable accounting and tax rules.
  • Security logs limited duration (often a few weeks/months) depending on security requirements.

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for :

  • to ensure the functioning of the Site (technical cookies); ;

  • measure the audience and/or propose appropriate content (depending on the tools activated).
